However, as a result of his brother’s abuse, McGill begins to lose control and eventually finds himself in the dark criminal underworld, where he exploits his expertise as a con man to create Saul Goodman.
The sixth and final season of Better Call Saul focuses on what transpired after Lalo Salamanca’s attempted murder while also emphasizing Jimmy McGill and his wife Kim Wrexler’s plot to ruin Howard Hamlin’s career. Later on, as Lalo and Gus Fring’s war overruns Jimmy’s doorstep, the plot thickens, and McGill fully assumes the identity of Saul Goodman, seeing the collision of his two worlds. In 2010, the show cuts to McGill, who is now residing in Omaha as Gene Takavic after divorcing Kim Wrexler.

Better Call Saul has a total of 6 seasons. The first season premiered in 2015 and had 10 episodes. The second season premiered the next year only in 2016, and it also had 10 episodes. The third season came in 2017, and it also consisted of 10 episodes. The fourth season came in 2018, and it also has 10 episodes. The fifth season was released in 2020, and like the previous episodes, it had 10 episodes. The final Season which is the 6th season, was released in 2022 and had a total of 13 episodes.
Is It Worth Watching?
Absolutely. It is becoming associated with Breaking Bad in some way. There are two different stories. Saul is a lawyer who makes a living off of his work, while Walter is a drug dealer. Although the storylines are distinct, the styles are very similar.
As I watch Better Call Saul, I find myself wondering how Saul managed to become so avaricious. In Breaking Bad, they eventually come to a fork in the road where the program is headed but has a different plot. Therefore, I assert that it will enhance both Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad.
Similar in duration to Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul has six seasons. Vince Gilligan, the show’s creator, knew from the beginning that the series couldn’t go more than six seasons without interfering with the events of Breaking Bad. Although the two series’ run times are comparable, most viewers believe Better Call Saul has a slower pacing. While some viewers may bemoan the lack of action in the program, the longer burn results in huge payoffs when the characters are able to carry out their schemes.
After viewing Better Call Saul, those who haven’t watched Breaking Bad in a while might want to do so in order to discover how the precursor plot arcs influenced the events that Walter White later encounters. The show should be more analogous to Law & Order or another well-known courtroom drama, according to viewers.
