The sequel to the hit comedy film Grown Ups has proven to be a massive success at the box office with a collection of $247 M with an initial investment of $80 M. Directed by Dennis Dugan, the film was warmly received by the public on the perception of it is as good as the first one.

The sequel of Grown Ups failed to make an impression on the viewers as the jokes were old and disgusting. The viewers were bored after a while with the lazy storyline, which made no sense, unlike the first film, which proved to be a massive success. Written by Fred Wolf and Adam Sandler, the film had a massive box office collection, but it failed to make an impact on the fans of the previous film.

Grown Ups 2- Premise

The film begins with Lenny and Roxane spending time together while a reindeer watches over them. Lenny has relocated with his family to Stanton, his hometown, where his friends from his younger days still live.

As Lenny wakes up from his sleep to see a deer looking at him and his wife Roxanne sleeping, he begins to try and get it out of their house. The deer continues to terrorize Lenny’s family until he lures him outside using a stuffed toy from his daughter’s collection.

Lenny is dismissive of Roxanne’s suggestion that the couple try for another child. Meanwhile, Eric is worried about Sally encouraging the streak of self-confidence in their kids, and Kurt gives a gift to Deanne, his wife, on the occasion of their anniversary. Marcus starts to make plans to spend the summer vacation with his estranged son but is intimidated by the teenager at every step as he resents Marcus for not being there for him.

Lenny takes his kids to the last day of their school, following which he picks up his friends to visit K-Mart. Lenny is persuaded by Kurt to throw a party for the first day of summer as the friends continue to discuss Tommy, Lenny’s high school bully. Tommy openly threatens Lenny at Becky’s dance recital he attended at the insistence of Fluzoo and Dante.

Charlotte agrees to go on a date on the last day of school while Lenny’s younger son struggles to deal with Duffy, his bully at school. The friends visit the same quarry Charlotte and Branden are at after humiliating Dicky, their old rival. At the quarry, the friends are confronted by hostile fraternity kids led by Andy and Milo.
