Gone with the Wind is a Romantic American epic historical film that is an adaptation of Magaret Mitchell’s novel of the same title. The movie is set in the southern United States and is against the American Civil War. The era is better known as the Reconstruction Era. The film revolves around the life of the protagonist, Scarlett (played by Vivien Leigh), who is in love with Ashley Wilkes.
The movie mainly revolves around her love life. At the end of the movie, Scarlett is left alone. However, there are boys who are interested in Scarlett, but as the movie comes to an end, she gets alone. She gets neither Ashley nor Rhett.

She hesitates a lot to confess in front of him. Later, she discovers that he is going to propose to her cousin, Melanie Hamilton. Scarlett’s heart breaks into million pieces, but she decides not to come in between them. She decided to meet Rhett Butler. He was not a patriotic guy, and his behavior was a bit odd and doubtful.
Scarlett collected her courage and confessed her feelings to Ashley, but he rejected her. Now, she was more heartbroken than earlier. She decided to show Ashley that she could be happy without him and that he was no one for her. She accepts a proposal from Ashley’s cousin and gets married. After the marriage, her husband had to go to war, but the saddening news follows that he is dead.

As the story comes to an end, the main character, Scarlett, realizes that her love for Ashley is never going to be a success. She was chasing a man who could never be hers. After that, she tries her best to explain to Rhett and tries to get his love again, but this time, Rhett is already burnt out. He refused. Scarlett was playing with his feelings for so long, and Rhett realized this, so he was not into Scarlett anymore.
She just lost what she had in her hands. She was mourning the departure of Rhett, but then she spoke up, ‘I’ll think about it tomorrow.’ This phrase is her signature one. She always says this. The ending of the story isn’t so tough, though. Scarlett just lost what she could have throughout her life. She ran after an inaccessible man who could never be hers.
She was in the hope that he would someday understand her and accept her, but that didn’t happen at all. Scarlett was only worrying about her desire and not the reality. She never sat and thought why she ever needed Ashley. When she realized that Rhett was the perfect guy for her, it was too late.
She used to like talking with him but always used to have her time with Ashley. However, her favorite phrase, ‘I’ll think about it tomorrow,’ helped her to recollect strength in her dark times.
