Chapter 1120 of the One Piece manga brought an extremely emotional moment for the fans as they witnessed the death of one of the Vegapunks, Atlas. Atlas in One Piece isn’t a person, but a cute, atom-shaped satellite created by Dr. Vegapunk. Nicknamed “Punk-05,” Atlas works on Egghead, relieving the stresses of the various Vegapunks by “running amok” (its own words).

The One Piece manga series is written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 1997, with its individual chapters compiled into 108 tankōbon volumes as of March 2024. Luffy has incredible strength and agility after eating a devil’s fruit that turns his body into rubber. He leaves Foosha Village in East Blue on his epic expedition to become the next Pirate King.
