Biography
Maya Boyd is an American actress, singer and dancer best known for her work on Broadway. She gained major recognition as Juliet in the Broadway musical & Juliet, following her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning revival of Merrily We Roll Along. Boyd later appeared as Molly Cunningham in the 2026 Broadway revival of August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone. She built her stage career while completing her BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan.
Boyd’s career also includes screen work, although her film and television credits remain considerably smaller than her theater résumé. Her film credits include the acclaimed independent drama The Unknown Country, while her stage work includes extensive training in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballroom and other dance styles. She has also participated in workshops and university productions before establishing herself professionally on Broadway.
