Biography

Hayden Panettiere was an American actress, singer and producer who became one of the most recognizable television stars of the 2000s through her role as Claire Bennet in Heroes. She began acting as a child, appearing in daytime television before moving into major film roles in Remember the Titans, Raising Helen and Ice Princess. Her later career included the acclaimed role of country singer Juliette Barnes in Nashville, Kirby Reed in the Scream franchise and voice work as Samantha in the Until Dawn video game.

Panettiere also worked as an executive producer and was known for animal and environmental advocacy. Her later screen credits included Scream VI, Amber Alert, A Breed Apart and Sleepwalker. She died in Greenville, South Carolina, on August 16, 2026, at age 36.
