Crunchyroll is celebrating the launch of Crunchyroll Manga in India with a promotional video featuring rapper Raftaar and actor-host Raghav Juyal. The collaboration turns a friendly rap battle into an anime-inspired comedy, with Raftaar becoming so engrossed in reading manga that even Raghav struggles to get his attention.
The situation takes an unexpected turn when manga spoilers enter the battle. While losing a rap contest is one thing, having a major plot twist revealed before reading it is a different challenge for Raftaar, an anime fan himself.
The campaign highlights the connection between manga and anime as Crunchyroll expands its services for Indian fans. The video is available on Crunchyroll’s Instagram.
Crunchyroll Manga brings more than 250 titles to Indian readers, allowing fans to explore manga alongside anime adaptations on the platform.
Access is available through the new Ultimate Fan membership, priced at ₹299 per month or ₹999 annually. The subscription includes ad-free anime streaming and access across up to six devices, alongside the manga offering.
Fans can download the Crunchyroll Manga app to explore the library and switch between reading manga and watching anime adaptations.
