The crime thriller Crackdown has recently finished the second season, and we are left on a cliffhanger again at the end. However, we shall see how the thriller series Crackdown Season 2 ended. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, it has an interesting journey of the RAW agents to be witnessed.
The plot revolves around the RAW agents Riyaz and her teammate Divya who jeopardizes their lives to save the country and its people from the cruel terrorists. It is indeed a fascinating show as they use their teammate Divya who looks exactly like the terrorist Mariam.

Crackdown Season 2 Synopsis
“Crackdown” is about a plane AE854 that has been hijacked by Khalil with 80 passengers on board whose lives are in danger. However, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) is determined to solve this case as well. Divya is hired to help in this crisis, but this turns out to be a life-changing experience for her.
This hijack was not just an ordinary one. The terrorists planned something that none of the RAW agents ever experienced. It was mind-boggling! What actually did they do? After hijacking the plane, the terrorists made the plane vanish, along with all the crew and its passengers.
Who Was The Threat?
But never mind, as our Indian RAW agents were set to accept this challenge too. Do you remember where the first season ended? It is where we find out who Garima really is. The season begins with Zorawar, who finds out it was Garima, his own wife, who was the actual person leaking the information and is an ISI agent Mausam Masoud. She is a threat.
Now, all Zorawar could think about was how he would catch her, and it was his prime motive. We also saw that Divya’s doppelganger Mariyam was killed by RAW, and this created literal havoc. So, read ahead to know what happened at the end of Crackdown Season 2.
Crackdown Season 2 Ending
Riyaz Pathan was captured in Pakistan for six months, but somehow he managed to escape, and he got back to discover all about the missing plane. Later, he comes to know that Preeto, his ex-wife, was one of the passengers. Talking about Fawzia, she is now safe and has been admitted to the hospital.
However, adding more problems to the case was the appointment of a new RAW chief- Avantika. She dismissed Divya and asked everybody to respect her better. As the series proceeded, the flight was noticed in Iran, which is only possible by crossing Pakistan, but what the terrorists wanted was still unknown.
We further saw that a man named Yusuf was captured and was a suspect as he was carrying 2 lakh dollars, and this money was speculated for funding terrorism.
Khalil’s Plan
He planned for an attack at the Ministry debriefing, and to be specific, his target was Avantika. RP and Divya find that out; however, the attack takes place, but luckily she is alive. Khalil is a step ahead always. We see that Cesium 137 was taken by a woman to Mumbai for an attack. Who’s this woman? This shall unfold in the next season.
It would be interesting to see in the season ahead if RP could stop the attack, and if yes, then how. Meanwhile, Zorawar is captured again in Afghanistan, and all passengers are also there only. Thus, the terrorists were not captured at the season 2 finale.
