Rookie sensation CORTIS has officially achieved “quadruple million-seller” status following an extraordinary commercial performance by their second EP, GREENGREEN.
According to the latest tracking data from Circle Chart (covering September 6 through September 12), GREENGREEN has accumulated over 4.1 million copies in cumulative physical sales.
This massive milestone makes CORTIS only the second K-pop artist to surpass the 4-million-copy threshold with an album released in South Korea this year, placing them alongside global titans BTS and their release ARIRANG.
The feat is particularly impressive given that CORTIS reached this career high point approximately one year after their debut, cementing their position among the top leaders of next-generation K-pop.
The album’s sales trajectory highlights remarkable growth and steady long-term interest.
GREENGREEN got off to an explosive start by recording 2,313,291 copies in first-week sales- a figure nearly five times higher than the 430,000 first-week sales registered by their debut EP.
Momentum remained exceptionally strong past the initial launch period, with the EP crossing 3 million sales in July (just 11 weeks after release) before adding another million copies over the subsequent two months.
This surging interest extended backward to their debut project, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, which gained an additional 1 million sales in 2026 alone to bring its lifetime cumulative total to 2.3 million copies.
Novel Physical Merchandise Formats and Global Chart Endurance
Part of the sustained commercial success behind GREENGREEN stems from CORTIS’s innovative strategy regarding physical album formats.
Moving beyond traditional photo-book CDs, the group introduced diverse merchandise-style physical editions- including an LP version, custom lip balm, dice sets, and a collectable “CORTIS Ball”- which heightened interest among physical collectors and global fans.
Sonically, the album garnered praise for its vibrant, eclectic sound profile led by the title track “REDRED”, along with fan-favorite B-sides such as “YoungCreatorCrew,” “ACAI,” and “Blue Lips.”
The album’s domestic dominance has been matched by a formidable footprint on international music charts:

- Billboard 200 Debut: GREENGREEN entered the Billboard 200 main album chart at No. 3 upon release, setting one of the fastest Top 3 debuts in history for a non-project K-pop group.
- Billboard Chart Longevity: The EP has demonstrated exceptional staying power, remaining on the Billboard 200 for 18 consecutive weeks.
- Spotify Streaming Totals: Across global streaming platforms, the six tracks on GREENGREEN surpassed 443 million cumulative streams on Spotify by mid-September.
International Touring, Expanded Editions, and Upcoming Global Engagements
Alongside record-breaking physical album sales, CORTIS has maintained an aggressive schedule of international activities and live performances.
The five-member group recently completed their first solo headline concert tour, the “2026 CORTIS TOUR” (also known as “Foot Your Phone Down”), culminating in a sold-out finale performance in Yokohama, Japan.
The tour carried the group through major venues across South Korea, Japan, and North America, where all seven of their North American concert dates sold out immediately upon ticket launch.
Building upon that live momentum, CORTIS expanded the project with a digital repackage/extended release titled GREENGREEN_playextended, adding new tracks including “PACK IT UP” and “MONEYMONEYMONEY”. Looking ahead, the group shows no signs of slowing down: a full broadcast of their Yokohama concert is slated for Japanese television on October 31, while their international schedule includes a high-profile performance at the 2026 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix weekend in October.
