Blue Lock Chapter 366 is going to be released very soon, and fans are eager to see how the match against the U-20 World Cup opponents unfolds from here. The previous chapter ended on a tense note: Isagi’s long pass sent Chigiri sprinting into the box, only for the defense to shut him down.
What followed was a brilliant one-two combination that nearly produced a goal, before Teddy Knight stepped in with a last-second block. The match is now shifting into a new phase, with Japan preparing for a corner kick and Hiori ready to deliver.
Meanwhile, Isagi’s evolution has begun to unsettle the opposing staff member, who suspects the young striker may be something far beyond ordinary. With the pressure rising and every play carrying huge consequences, the upcoming chapter promises more twists, clever tactics, and ego-fueled drama. Here is everything you need to know before it arrives.
Blue Lock Chapter 365 Recap
The previous chapter opens with Isagi’s brutal long pass to the newly substituted Chigiri, and chapter 365 follows that sprint from its first panel. Chigiri is stunned that Isagi would make him run so far right after coming on, but the pass fires him up.
He has to slip past the defense and reach the ball in time, and he recognizes it as a gamble. He commits fully and runs. His gamble pays off. Chigiri gets to the ball and is free for a shot, but the opposing defense reacts immediately.
Two defenders, one of them the big number 8, close him down together, cutting off his inside lane while also guarding the area where he’s most dangerous. Chigiri is shaken by how perfectly they seem to have prepared for him, as if they had rehearsed exactly how to shut him down.
Rather than force a doomed shot, he turns around and charges back toward his own side. Hiori praises the call, noting that two defenders on Chigiri means the center is now a man short.
The opposing goalkeeper sees a cross coming and assumes the crowd rushing the goal means someone will be left free for a Japan ego-striker to blast it in. Shidou and Rin both call for the ball, and Chigiri’s lofted pass seems to be heading to one of them.
Instead, he sends it far back to Isagi, leaving the defenders baffled. The opposing staff member watching the match explains that Isagi anticipated this exact situation the moment he passed to Chigiri. The two have just pulled off an absurdly long one-two pass.
Isagi receives the ball and faces the goalkeeper, Teddy Knight, who is known by the nickname “Two-gun” for his twin-pistol style. He is guessing which way Isagi will go. Isagi lifts the ball over him, but Knight reads it as a right-gun shot and gets a last-second block.
The Japan bench groans at how close it was. The opposing staff member remarks that Isagi seems to be moving differently than in the first half, as if he has jumped to another level, and admits that Isagi’s plays now exceed his current data.

The same staff member breaks down what Isagi did by comparing it to famous real-world plays. The one-two pass resembles a Cavani and Suárez combination from the 2018 World Cup, and the pressing resembles a technique Kanté used in 2017. He calls Isagi tricky but comprehensible, someone who still fits within his mental framework.
The next phase is Japan’s corner kick, taken by Hiori. Shidou, desperate to score, charges in, and the kick is met in the box. The goalkeeper’s block leaves a second ball loose. Once again, Isagi is the one who is there to meet it.
That persistence rattles the opposing staff member. He has watched Isagi alternate between offense and defense to slip through gaps in the formation, and it feels as if Isagi is dismantling the “correctness” in his own head.
He wonders whether Isagi’s intellect matches his own, then dismisses the thought because someone so young shouldn’t have that much accumulated knowledge. The chapter ends on a chilling realization: if it is true, Isagi is the same kind of being as the monstrous figures he has faced before, and he finds himself wondering if Isagi is otherworldly.

Blue Lock Chapter 366 summary
Blue Lock Chapter 366: “Does Not Yet Exist in This World” (まだこの世界に存在しない)
The chapter kicks off right in the thick of the action as Blue Lock swarms England’s penalty box with Isagi driving the attack. The defenders Teddy and Lockhart rush in to choke out any opening, shouting at each other to shut down his shooting lane (“コース消します” / Cut off the course!).
But just as England thinks they have him trapped, Isagi throws everyone off by slipping a sudden no-look pass out wide to the flank.
England’s backline is completely caught off guard (“パス…!!?” / A pass…?!). Hiori charges into the open space right on cue, hyping up the play (“よっしゃ もっかい!” / All right, one more time!) as he sets himself up to whip the ball right back into the box. Over on the England sideline, manager Fox is spiraling.
He’s clutching his face in sheer disbelief, muttering over and over: “No, no, no… There’s no way Isagi Yoichi is an ‘Outlier’ (異界種 / Cheater)…!”
To Fox, an Outlier is someone with impossible, god-given physical traits that defy football logic, like Loki or Hugo. But according to all of Fox’s data, Isagi has never possessed that kind of baseline freak talent.
Trying desperately to talk himself down, Fox insists: “Calm down… it’s just a lucky streak! Isagi’s brain is nothing special…” Out on the pitch, Isagi reads Fox like a book: “That brilliant brain of yours is my exact breakthrough point!”
England’s entire identity relies on an astronomical database of conventional football knowledge, using it to calculate the single “optimal, correct answer” to suffocate their opponents.
But Isagi exposes the fatal flaw in that system: because England only knows how to shut down existing textbook patterns, their analytical minds completely shut down when faced with something that has never existed in football history.
Isagi knows he can’t suddenly awaken some superhuman, alien ability out of nowhere. Instead, his answer is to forcefully condense and sync every single weapon he already owns—his Metavision, off-the-ball movements, smelling the goal, and his direct volley.
By doing that, he will calculate and engineer an “Unknown Isagi Yoichi” that doesn’t yet exist in the football world.
As Hiori winds up for the cross, the entire box turns into a high-speed 50/50 gamble: Near or Far? (“近か 遠か”) England’s defense hesitates for a split second trying to calculate where it’s going to drop, and Isagi pounces on that hesitation, bolting all the way to the far post (“ボールは 遠!!!” / The ball is going FAR!).
England’s Lockhart watches him break wide. Isagi has lost his mind:
“No way in hell… there’s zero shooting angle from there! Come on, Egoist… You’re gambling with me?!” Isagi shuts that down instantly: “Like hell I’d gamble with you, dumbass” (“する狂よ アホが”).
He breaks down how he sees the pitch: the old Isagi used to stack reproducible plays and simply wait for “Luck” to fall into his lap. But in this second half, he has completely dominated the pitch, tearing through every “correct” play England could throw at him.
He didn’t wait around for fortune—he actively engineered the exact spot where “Luck” had to land and seized it with 100% reproducibility. “This final strike isn’t a gamble at all!!!” (“最後の一撃は 運賭けじゃない!!!”)
Timing his run to perfection, Isagi meets the falling ball cleanly, unleashing a lethal, unstoppable DIRECT SHOOT across the face of the goal! The ball blasts straight into the roof of the net—GOAL!!! The English defense and goalkeeper are left frozen in shock (“ありえない…!!!” / Impossible…!).
Fox is completely speechless on the sideline, watching in horror at the monster before him: a player operating as a defender, midfielder, and striker all at once.
A bizarre chimera born out of the Blue Lock environment—a brand-new breed of player that football history has never seen.
On the final page, Isagi roars in pure ecstasy as Ego Jinpachi watches from above with a an epic grin on his face.
The closing text proclaims: “A tactical role named ‘Isagi Yoichi’!!!” (『潔世一』という戦型!!!)
Side text: “Isagi’s piercing, ferocious strike detonates! Into a realm never seen before in history, the Demon King begins his march!!” Next Chapter Teaser: Blue Lock Chapter 367 is titled “The Demon King and The Right Path” (魔王と覇道).
