Blue Lock Chapter 359 Release Date

Blue Lock Chapter 359 is set to release on September 1, 2026. Spoilers will start coming out from August 31, 2026.

At just the 20-minute mark of the first half, England’s coach, Fox, makes a highly unusual tactical decision to substitute Agi.

Agi protests, insisting he is still physically capable of playing, but Fox bluntly reveals the substitution is a disciplinary measure.

Fox admonishes Agi for letting his “ego” emerge and acting outside of the coach’s predetermined calculations. He argues that relying on individual players’ unpredictable ideas (going from “0 to 1”) is a flawed strategy, explicitly citing it as the reason France lost.

Demonstrating absolute authority, Fox harshly dismisses Agi, stating that winning the World Cup is an eternity away for players with his mindset.

 

Fox outlines his core coaching philosophy: he only values and shows affection for players who act as perfectly obedient “soldiers,” discarding anyone who questions his tactics as defective.

To replace Agi, Fox brings in Lockhart, a young forward making waves in the German league with Berserk Dortmund. Known as the “Iron Soldier,” Lockhart represents the ideal obedient piece in Fox’s tactical machine.

Isagi observes this internal conflict, realizing that England’s entire strategy revolves around suppressing individual ego and instantly subbing out any player who deviates from the script.

The match officially restarts, and Lockhart instantly proves his worth. Unlike Agi’s technical playstyle, Lockhart utilizes superhuman physical strength to retain the ball, successfully holding off two Blue Lock defenders simultaneously to create space for his wingers.

The narrative explains the historical weight behind Fox’s extreme tactics: despite being the birthplace of football, England has suffered a 60-year World Cup drought. Fox’s system of cultivating an obedient “army” is a desperate, national-level project designed to break this losing streak.

Thoroughly disgusted by Fox’s philosophy, Isagi outright rejects the idea of being a coach’s controlled pawn.

The sequence reaches its climax as Isagi, fueled by his own independent will to become the world’s best striker, initiates a direct, high-stakes 1-on-1 confrontation with England’s ace, Teddy.
