Alix Earle has opened up about her highly publicized feud with Alex Cooper, revealing that she was “scared of” and “intimidated” by the Call Her Daddy host. Earle discussed the fallout in the season finale of her Netflix reality series, Earle Meets World, which premiered on September 4, 2026.
The 25-year-old influencer had largely avoided directly addressing the dispute after Cooper called her out on TikTok earlier this year. However, the Netflix series gives viewers a much closer look at Earle’s perspective, including her complicated feelings about her former professional relationship with Cooper and the Unwell media company.
Earle also spoke candidly with her family about her experience appearing on Call Her Daddy and considered sending Cooper a strongly worded private message. While it remains unclear whether she ultimately sent it, the conversation provides Earle’s most detailed explanation yet of why the relationship deteriorated.

In the Earle Meets World finale, Earle told her family that she felt Cooper was trying to provoke a public response after previously calling her out online. She said she felt as though she was
“being baited into saying something,”
while admitting that she was nervous about confronting someone she had once admired considerably.
Earle’s connection to Cooper dates back to 2023, when she became one of the first creators signed to Unwell. Her podcast, Hot Mess, eventually left the company in March 2025, but Earle said the circumstances surrounding the professional split left her feeling disappointed.
She claimed during the finale that she learned she was no longer working with Unwell through media reports rather than directly from the company. Looking back, Earle said there had been “constantly issues” with the business and that the reality of working there did not match what she had expected when she joined.
The influencer also described how strongly she initially looked up to Cooper.
“From the start, I didn’t realize things were going wrong because I was obsessed with her,”
Earle said, explaining that she viewed Cooper as an idol and hoped she could become a mentor.
That admiration eventually changed into a much more negative experience. Earle alleged that she felt
“taken advantage of and used and mistreated and manipulated,”
while her father, TJ Earle, claimed she did not receive the same production resources for Hot Mess that other Unwell shows received.
Earle additionally revisited her January 2025 appearance on Call Her Daddy. She alleged that she was drinking before filming and was asked sexually explicit questions that made her uncomfortable. Earle claimed she had asked for portions of the conversation to be removed, but said Cooper considered the material funny.
“I’m imagining myself in her shoes, to take someone in college, who’s young, impressionable, you know looks up to you, and then ask them these raunchy questions,”
Earle said in the episode. She added that some of the material was not something she wanted
“to live on the internet forever.”
The dispute also affected Earle’s family because she discussed her stepmother Ashley Dupré’s controversial past during the podcast appearance. Dupré later said the conversation affected her emotionally, particularly because she felt Earle had omitted parts of her personal journey.
Earle ultimately read a draft message to Cooper in which she accused her former business partner of being “manipulative and toxic” and claimed she had chosen money over morals. She also wrote that Cooper could no longer “scare or trap” her, although the episode does not establish whether the message was ever sent.
All eight episodes of Earle Meets World are now available to stream on Netflix, with Netflix officially describing the series as an unscripted look at Earle’s life, family and growing business career.
