Longtime meteorologist Rob Marciano, a fixture on ABC News’ weekend broadcasts of “Good Morning America,” has parted ways with the network, according to a reliable source.

ABC News declined to comment further on Marciano’s departure. He joined ABC News in 2014 and filled a position on “GMA” previously held by Ginger Zee, who now appears on the show’s weekday programs.

Reports circulating in outlets suggested Marciano’s exit from “GMA’s” Times Square Studios followed conflicts with other staff members.

Before his tenure at ABC, Marciano served as an anchor for “Entertainment Tonight” and worked as a meteorologist and anchor at CNN.

His career began at local TV and radio stations, including stints at KATU in Portland, Oregon, KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and WVIT in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Marciano allegedly faced a warning about “anger management issues” a year prior, leading to a temporary suspension. However, after almost a decade at ABC, the network decided to part ways with Marciano in July 2024, terminating his role as senior meteorologist.

Marciano’s alleged issues reportedly came to a head in March 2023 when he was purportedly banned from the “Good Morning America” studio in Times Square. Sources claimed he engaged in improper conduct, leading to discomfort among colleagues and a series of concerning incidents.
