The announcement also confirms that Kikunosuke Toya, best known for voicing Denji in Chainsaw Man, will join the cast as Curtis Bannister. The character serves as captain of the Thirteenth Knight Brigade, adding another notable figure to the series’ growing cast.

The anime is being produced by Felix Film, with Tomoe Makino directing. Deko Akao is handling series composition, while Satomi Kurita is responsible for character designs and Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music. Naoki Murata serves as assistant director, and Ryosuke Naya is the sound director.

The adaptation is based on the fantasy light novel series written by Touya and illustrated by Chibi. The manga adaptation is drawn by Mahito Aobe. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the official English editions of the light novels, manga, and prequel series.

The production previously announced a delay from April to October 2026, with the change intended to allow the team to deliver the best possible quality for viewers.
