Nezuko Kamado is a major character from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime. She is the younger sister of the main protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, in the series.
Nezuko turned into a demon after her entire family was slaughtered by the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji. After the tragic event in her life, Nezuko still does not lose her emotions.
After turning into a demon like other demons because of her brother Tanjiro’s great efforts. Nezuko has black hair with orange highlights, and she ties up the front of her hair with a pink ribbon.
She has light pink eyes, fair skin, and a slim build figure. Tanjiro had mentioned at times that Nezuko was considered the prettiest girl in their town.
Throughout the series, she wears a light pink kimono and white socks. Nezuko had to carry a bamboo muzzle inside her mouth to stop her demon instinct from getting heightened and attacking other humans.
In her demon form, Nezuko gains enhanced physical abilities. She gains extraordinary strength, agility, and rapid regeneration.
She gains better control over her demon abilities after a while, and she stops herself from harming other humans. Even in her demon form, Nezuko never hurts her brother, she always remains protective of him.
She always fights other demons and protects her brother and the other demon slayers corps. The main plot revolves around Tanjiro, who goes on quests to hunt down demons.
Nezuko accompanies her brother and his friends they work as a team to hunt down demons and make Japan a safer place for humans.
Tanjiro and Nezuko’s bond in the series highlights the love of family members in the face of adversity. Nezuko cosplay was very popular among cosplayers when the series started airing.
