The Wind just made its debut in May 2023 with “ISLAND.” At present, the Kpop group consists of – Thanatorn, Park Hayuchan, Kim Heesoo, Choi Hanbin, An Chanwon, and Jang Hyounjoon. Shin Jaewon, the K-pop star, was born in May 2004. He hails from Chang-dong, Dobong-gu, Seoul, South Korea. He doesn’t just have a distinctive voice but also excels in playing guitar. Well, Shin served as the main vocalist and the leader of The Wind. Now, when he left, everyone started wondering if the group was going to disband. The answer is- No. It just started and is continuing to work with six remaining members.

Reason Behind Shin Jaewon Leaving The Kpop Group The Wind Revealed
While departing the rookie Kpop boy group- The Wind, Shin Jaewon cited having “personal reasons.” The news of his exit was made on 6 December 2023, making fans very upset. In other words, it is to be noted that Shin Jaewon parted ways just seven months after its debut.
The With US Entertainment made an official statement regarding the same. The post initiated with- “We sincerely apologize for having to give WHIZ (The Wind’s fandom), who are always thinking on the group’s side and always sending them lots of love and support, cause for concern through this unfortunate news.”
Later, it also requested its fans for unchanging love and warm support for the remaining six members who wished to continue doing their utmost.
Even though the agency cited it to be “personal circumstances”, it was something beyond that. What happened? Sadly, the idol, Shin Jaewon, got caught while dating a fan. After they broke up, that alleged fan exposed their relationship on X. She posted a bunch of screenshots of their chats on an alternate account. Naturally, his fans got pissed. Many questioned if he didn’t know the industry he was a part of.
On this note, one fan wrote on social media, “Dating a fan is truly one of the dumbest things you could do as an idol, but I feel sorry for him since he’s so young.” While another commented, “I hope he can continue making music at some point.”
Many Whiz claimed that Shin Jaewoon would have been more careful as a rookie idol. In other words, he should have known how the Kpop industry is and also what could be the serious consequences of dating a fan if caught.
Some fans are hoping for Shin Jaewon to bounce back to The Wind somehow. The With US Entertainment reportedly didn’t allow Shin to continue after his relationship with a fan girl came out to the public. Well, that’s what fans assumed. It is also assumed that he didn’t want to leave everything by himself.
