Popular actress Lake Bell joined the cast ensemble of the hit legal drama series Boston Legal as Sally Heep. While Lake Bell never dislocated the exact reason behind her departure from the series, she did talk about it in an early interview where Bell revealed that the firing scene was very real.
The actress was referring to the scene where Shirley fires Sally after there were some repeated errors in case preparations. Shirley questioned Sally’s abilities and politely fired her from the firm.
The show makers or Lake Bell herself did not disclose much about her departure from the series. While Bell’s time on the show was short-lived, her role as Sally Heep gained considerable attention.
