Future Plans for the Blippi Franchise

In an effort to cash in on the potential of the Blippi world, Moonbug Entertainment plans to expand the size of its children’s empire on Netflix.

There is speculation of the first Blippi spin-off series, which will debut on Netflix with Kaitlin Becker’s Meekah as its lead character. Meekah, a television series, will reportedly make its Netflix debut in English, Spanish, and Portuguese-speaking nations on December 1.

“Meekah is our first character to join the Blippi universe, and fans have taken to her right away. In fact, the number of viewers for the episodes that include Meekah has increased by a factor of two,” according to Andy Yeatman, managing director of Moonbug Entertainment’s Americas division.  “This is such an exciting milestone for the Blippi franchise; we can’t wait to see how kids continue to connect with this character on and off the screen.”

These YouTube videos have the potential to drastically change how the minds of young children work, and even the parents seem to be quite happy to be able to expose their kids to engaging and intellectually educational quality content.
