The major reason for Jacksepticeye taking a break from Youtube was his father passing away. It was a traumatic and upsetting experience, and thus, he needed some time to gather his courage to make videos. At that time, he was very much unsure of his capability, being able to create content for his Youtube channel. He asked for some respect and privacy from his family. Later, the star also posted some pictures of him with his late father, sharing his love for him.
