Think about the world we live in, never being the same again, and having to fight for your survival daily due to a lack of resources. The situation sounds like a nightmare that became true for the characters of The 100 series. The 100 is a sci-fi that every science enthusiast should give a shot at as it shows the pros and cons of development in science.
Every scientific discovery that was ever made was a fantastical idea of someone who dreamt about making something different, about inventing something for the betterment of mankind. Often these discoveries have been used to cause destruction. From the invention of wheels to the invention of A.I., science has come a long way that was initially invisible to the public eye.
The series got developed by Jason Rothenberg that was an adaptation of a young adult novel of the same name written by Kass Morgan. The show stars Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Thomas McDonell, Bob Morley, and Eli Goree in prominent roles.
The series premiered on March 20, 2014, and ended with its final season airing on September 30, 2020. The cast is full of energetic and charming members. The run time of each episode was around 30 to 42 minutes. The series had a total of hundred episodes and seven seasons.

A Brief Synopsis Of The 100 Series
The series began in a post-apocalyptic situation on Earth where the story follows a group of characters throughout the show with them having personal growth along their journey. The plot follows life on Earth after ninety-seven of a nuclear apocalypse.
Almost most of the population got swiped from the face of the Earth; there were around 1000 survivors. These 1000 survivors survived by orbiting Earth in a space station and procreating three generations of the human race again.
This orbiting space station is known Ark and has all the resources for a human’s survival. The situation takes a turn when Ark’s support system fails, thus forcing hundred of juvenile prisoners to be sent to Earth to check if it is habitable for humans. After reaching the Earth, the juveniles from Ark realized certain other groups survived on the Earth, called grounders.
This discovery began a battle between the two groups for resources. The prisoners try to live in harsh weather conditions and an environment that’s different from theirs in Ark under the leadership of Clarke and Bellamy.
The second season follows the juveniles and their struggle after getting stuck in a power struggle with the grounders. The mountain men capture forty-six prisoners for blood transfusions for their survival. The second season ends with a massacre of the mountain men to rescue the captive juveniles.
The third season follows the rescue of Clarke and the prisoners. They return to their home and try to live a life of normalcy after winning against the mountain men. The juveniles have a hard time coming to terms with things they’d to do to escape. They also realized that no one is a hero or villain in a war. The battle begins again when Pike gets elected as chancellor and announces war against the grounders again.
The world again becomes uninhabitable when two dozen nuclear reactors start melting due to neglect taking place through the decades. A discovery reveals that grounders with black blood survive on the Earth’s uninhabitable environment. Every clan chooses a hundred people to live in a bunker discovered, considered habitable for the people.
The fifth season follows the events of war after six years of the nuclear reactors melting down. A fight ensues after the survivors return to Earth for the shallow valley between the juveniles and Wonkru, a new united clan. The survivors from this war again escape to space and go into cryosleep.
The sixth season followed the events after the juveniles woke up from 125 years of cryosleep. Clarke and Bellamy realize they are no longer orbiting the Earth and are on a new place known as Alpha. The Alpha is full of Primes, the ruling families on the planet. The war begins between the Primes and the juveniles resulting in the death of most primes and the loss of several prisoners.
The last season follows with the end of the war and no more fights to take place; the remaining juveniles find themselves alive and together. The series ended with Clarke and his group being known as the last human being to live on Earth.

What Episode Does Abby Griffin Die In The 100?
The beloved character of Abby, played by Paige Turco, came to a sorrowful end in the 12th episode of the 6th season of The 100. Abby was a crucial character in the 100 series, which was a part of the series for five seasons and appeared for only twelve episodes of the sixth season.
Abby played the role of a Chief Medical Officer and a council member of Ark. She was selected as one of the juveniles to be sent to Earth to observe its conditions. Abby being a person with a soft heart and someone who cares about others, is easily manipulated by others for their benefit.
She is a character who’s easy to take advantage of, as realized by her enemies like Josephine, who manipulates Abby for her benefit after realizing Abby listens to her heart instead of her mind.
This caring nature of Abby became the reason for her death too. After Abby realizes that Russell will kill Madi, without a second thought decides to inject herself with a dose of night blood so they would use her bone marrow to create more hosts instead of Madi’s. Russell likes her courage and decides to make her a host for their wife.
Abby has a heartfelt reunion with her daughter Clarke and Raven, which also serves as a final goodbye to them. After the reunion, Abby is injected with a paralytic by Russell, with flashbacks of Abby’s ‘best moments shown to the audience. Even though Abby’s body was still present in the series, her mind was no longer in her control, thus marking the farewell of the character of Abby.
