Fans haven’t seen the Viking Raiders together on WWE TV lately, and there’s a reason for that. Erik, one of the Viking Raiders, is recovering from neck surgery.
Erik had neck fusion surgery last year and is still recovering. He’s even trying stem cell treatment to help him heal faster.
Ivar Discusses Teammate’s Progress
Ivar, Erik’s partner, recently gave an interview about Erik’s recovery. He said it’s slow but steady, and Erik is doing well overall.
“Neck injuries are tricky,” Ivar explained. “It takes time to heal, just like mine did a few years ago. Erik’s doing great, but it’s a slow process. He’ll be back in the ring eventually.”
Erik hasn’t wrestled since September 2023. There’s no official word on when he’ll be back, but we can expect to see the Viking Raiders reunited sometime in the future.
While Erik recovers, Ivar has been competing as a singles wrestler on WWE. It’s a chance for him to showcase his individual talent, but fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the Viking Experience!
