Andy Garcia and Toni Collette take the lead roles in a romantic comedy titled Under the Stars. The movie also features Alex Pettyfer and Eva De Dominici.
Currently, the film is being shot in Puglia, Italy, with plans to continue filming in London. It will make its debut at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
The story revolves around a romance novelist facing challenges in his writing and personal life. While in Italy, he meets someone who becomes his muse, helping him find inspiration for his next book.
The cast also includes Rob Estes from the After series, Jessica Michel Serfaty from Days of Our Lives, and Chiara Iezzi from Alex & Co. Michelle Danner directs the film, based on a script by novelist Victoria Vinuesa. Producer Pia Patatian describes it as a romantic comedy filled with love, passion, and beauty.
