tvN‘s highly anticipated drama “The Auditors” has shared intriguing moments from its recent script reading session.
“The Auditors” revolves around the dynamic at JU Construction’s audit office, featuring a ruthless audit team leader and a passionate new hire, amidst a backdrop of rampant corruption.
Directors Kwon Young Il and Ju Sang Gyu led the script reading, attended by the stellar cast including Shin Ha Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, Jin Goo, Jo Ah Ram, Jung Moon Sung, Jung Dong Hwan, and Baek Hyun Jin.
Shin Ha Kyun’s portrayal of the cold, distrustful audit team leader Shin Cha Il stood out. His flawless delivery and commanding presence garnered praise throughout the session. Opposite him, Lee Jung Ha infused warmth and passion into his role as rookie auditor Gu Han Soo, creating a compelling contrast.
The chemistry between Shin Ha Kyun and Lee Jung Ha was evident as they seamlessly exchanged dialogues, hinting at a strong on-screen partnership.
Jin Goo brought a distinctive intensity to his role as Hwang Dae Woong, JU Construction’s vice president, who frequently clashes with Shin Cha Il. His authoritative presence and decisive dialogue heightened the tension, piquing curiosity about his character’s motivations.
Jo Ah Ram impressed with her portrayal of Yoon Seo Jin, the elite new audit team member. Her cold gaze and clear speech embodied professionalism, establishing her character’s strict adherence to rules while interacting with Gu Han Soo.
Jung Moon Sung’s depiction of Hwang Se Woong, JU Construction’s president, added a layer of realism to the drama through his fierce power struggles with Jin Goo’s character. Veteran actor Jung Dong Hwan commanded respect as Mr. Bang, the seasoned leader, whose authority even the powerful brothers dare not challenge.
Baek Hyun Jin provided a touch of humor as Senior Manager Yang, balancing the drama with his amiable yet detestable character.
