The Winx Club is coming back in 2025 with a new CGI animated series premiering on Netflix. Fans have been talking about this comeback for a while, especially after the last Netflix show, Fate: The Winx Saga, got canceled.

Iginio Straffi, the creator of the franchise, has been hinting at a CGI-animated version of Winx Club for some time, and it’s now officially confirmed by Rainbow Studios.

The new series promises to be a “whole new series” and a “throwback” that aims to rekindle the love of fans. Rainbow Studios announced that the show will debut on Netflix in 2025. Alongside the series, a new line of toys will be released by partners Playmates Toys and Giochi Preziosi, featuring fashion dolls, accessories, and playsets.

According to Rainbow, the new CGI-animated series will bring the Magical Dimension to life with a fresh animation style, blending classic Winx Club themes with contemporary storytelling and stunning visual effects.

The storyline will follow Bloom, a teenage girl from Earth who discovers she’s a fairy with extraordinary powers. Enrolling at Alfea College for Fairies, Bloom forms the Winx Club with her friends and heads on magical adventures across dimensions.

Iginio Straffi, the President of Rainbow and creator of Winx Club, expressed excitement about the series’ return and collaboration with Netflix. He highlighted the partnership with Giochi Preziosi and Playmates to create new and improved Winx toys, ensuring a bright future for the franchise both on screen and in retail.
