On April 22, The Boyz’s official SNS shared two photos with the title “[Exclusive] The Boyz currently on a date at Hangang Park… Who are they? (Comprehensive)”, accompanied by a detailed narrative about member Hyunjae’s supposed romantic outing.
The article, styled like a typical Dispatch report, described Hyunjae and fellow member Younghoon’s outing at Hangang Park on April 4, 2024, including a trip to Macheon Jungang Market and activities like grilling meat and making stew. The narrative was designed to tease fans with a fictional dating scenario.
Initially, fans were taken aback by the apparent dating revelation, only to realize later that it was a creative marketing stunt by the agency to generate buzz for an upcoming content release.
