Tamina has been absent from WWE programming for a long time, leading fans to question her status with the company.
Tamina’s WWE Status
WWE has a large roster spread across Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, and sometimes wrestlers don’t appear due to injuries, creative decisions, or other reasons. After the 2023 WWE Draft, Tamina wasn’t assigned to any brand.
Her last televised match was on February 27th, 2023, on Main Event, where she lost to Michigan. The week before that, she teamed with Dana Brooke in a losing effort on the same show. Her most recent Premium Live Event appearance was the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
Despite the lack of appearances, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that Tamina is still under contract with WWE. Her future with the company is uncertain, but for now, she remains on the roster.
This could be a strategic decision by WWE, or it’s possible they’re waiting for the right creative opportunity for Tamina. She is a veteran wrestler with a dedicated fanbase, so it will be interesting to see when and how she returns to WWE programming.
