Filipino P-pop group SB19 is bringing its massive live concert experience to cinemas across North America this October. SB19 Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale in Cinemas will receive special theatrical screenings at more than 200 theaters on October 8 and October 11, giving fans an opportunity to experience the group’s biggest live performance on the big screen. The release is being presented by Iconic Events Releasing in partnership with CJ 4DPLEX.

The concert film captures SB19’s April 18, 2026 performance at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City, Philippines. Directed by Paolo Valenciano and co-produced by 1Z Entertainment and Live Nation Philippines, the film is designed to bring the scale, energy, and atmosphere of the live event to movie audiences. Select theaters will also screen the concert in SCREENX and 4DX, adding immersive visual and physical elements to the presentation.

SB19 Wakas at Simula Brings the Trilogy Finale to North American Cinemas

SB19 Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale in Cinemas documents a major milestone for one of the Philippines’ most internationally recognized P-pop groups. SB19 has built its reputation through powerful vocals, synchronized choreography, and a musical style that combines contemporary pop with hip-hop and EDM influences. The group’s growing international audience has also helped establish P-pop as a genre with an increasingly visible presence beyond the Philippines.

The concert film centers on the group’s large-scale performance at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City. That show took place on April 18, 2026, and serves as the foundation for the cinematic presentation now heading to theaters. Rather than simply reproducing a standard concert recording, the theatrical release is positioned as an opportunity for audiences to experience the performance collectively on a cinema-sized screen.

Steven Menkin, President and Co-Founder of Iconic Events Releasing, highlighted the enthusiasm surrounding SB19’s international audience and the suitability of the concert for theatrical presentation. “SB19 has built an incredibly passionate global fanbase,” Menkin said, adding that the concert’s energy and scale make it a natural fit for the big screen.

The North American release will also utilize immersive cinema technology at selected venues. SCREENX expands the presentation beyond the traditional central cinema screen, using surrounding walls to create a wider visual environment. The format is intended to place audiences closer to the concert experience by extending selected visuals across the theater.

Meanwhile, 4DX adds physical effects to the screening through motion-enabled seats and environmental effects. Depending on the presentation, audiences can experience elements such as movement, wind, water, vibration, fog, and other effects designed to complement what is happening on screen. Together, the formats give SB19 fans additional ways to experience the group’s concert beyond a conventional theatrical screening.

SB19’s international profile has continued to grow through major milestones. The group became the first Southeast Asian act nominated for Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards in 2021 and became the first Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza in 2026. SB19 is also scheduled to represent P-pop at the inaugural KPOPWORLD Festival 2026 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, on October 31.

The concert film is scheduled for theatrical screenings in 12 countries during October, including the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Austria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Qatar. For North American audiences, the October 8 and October 11 screenings provide the main opportunity to see SB19 Wakas at Simula in theaters.

Tickets for the North American screenings are already on sale, with participating theaters and ticketing information available through Iconic Events Releasing. The combination of SB19’s large-scale concert production and CJ 4DPLEX’s immersive formats makes the release particularly notable for fans looking to experience the Trilogy Concert Finale in a theatrical setting.
