During a workout, Podziemski’s accomplishment surprised veteran player Draymond Green, who praised him on his noteworthy advancement in the league.
Podziemski, at just 21 years old, found himself among a pool of talented rookies, becoming the only rookie in Golden State’s history to be honored with a First Team selection since Eric Paschall in 2019-20.
