On April 21, the popular romance drama soared to its highest viewership ratings yet ahead of its final two episodes. Nielsen Korea reported that the latest episode of “Queen of Tears” achieved an impressive average nationwide rating of 21.625 percent, marking a new personal record for the series.

The drama’s success places it just shy of the record set by “Crash Landing on You,” which holds the title for the highest drama ratings in tvN history with a 21.683 percent nationwide average for its series finale.

In other rating news, MBN’s new rom-com drama “Missing Crown Prince” also celebrated its highest ratings to date, achieving a 2.5 percent nationwide average for its Sunday broadcast.

JTBC’s “Hide” saw a rise in ratings to an average nationwide rating of 4.6 per cent as it approaches its final week of airing.
