Cassie Lee, known to WWE fans as Peyton Royce, is open to returning to the Royal Rumble! This comes after she took time away from wrestling to give birth to her son.
Lee, along with tag team partner Jessica McKay (known as Billie Kay in WWE), was released by WWE in 2021. They have not been back since, but fans have speculated about a possible return.
Comeback Possible
Lee and McKay previously revealed they declined an invitation to the 2022 Royal Rumble, feeling it was too soon after their release. However, in a recent interview, Lee expressed a change of heart.
“I’m definitely open to it,” Lee said about a Royal Rumble return. “I would love that! It would be great to catch up with everyone. We said no last time because we were still hurt about things, but I feel healed now and I’d love to do it if the opportunity came up.”
Lee is currently expecting her second child with her husband, Shawn Spears (Miro in AEW). Whether she’ll be ready for a Royal Rumble return next year remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: many fans would love to see Peyton Royce back in the ring.
