Oshi No Ko follows the life of Obstetrician-gynecologist Gorou Amamiya, who finds himself entangled in a gripping tale as he assists in delivering the children of Ai Hoshino, a renowned pop idol, in secrecy. Tragically, Gorou meets his demise at the hands of an obsessive fan on the night of Ai’s delivery, only to be reborn as Aquamarine “Aqua” Hoshino, her son, carrying the memories of his previous life.
Unaware of his past, Aqua’s twin sister, Ruby Hoshino, holds the reincarnated spirit of Sarina Tendōji, one of Gorou’s former patients and an ardent admirer of Ai. As events unfold, Ai falls victim to the same fan who ended Gorou’s life, leading Aqua to suspect his father’s involvement and vow to unravel the truth within the entertainment industry.
The eagerly awaited second season of the Oshi No Ko TV anime series is slated to premiere on July 3, 2024, across 35 stations in Japan. Accompanying this announcement is a 30-second commercial showcasing the season’s opening theme, “Fatale,” performed by GEMN, whose identity remains shrouded in mystery. Fans can watch the premiere episode at the Marunouchi Piccadilly Theater in Tokyo during the advance screening event on June 30, 2024, broadcast live nationwide.
