Randy Orton, a WWE legend, recently discussed how the backstage environment has changed since Vince McMahon’s departure. With Triple H, Nick Khan, and Bruce Prichard leading creative, Orton feels the process is much more organized.

Orton spoke on Adam’s Apple YouTube channel, explaining that the biggest difference is the long-term planning. Previously, things were often chaotic, with creative changes happening just before shows went live.
“Before, we were kind of flying by the seat of our pants,” Orton said. “Creative was changed minutes before we went live each week.”
This last-minute approach was a major source of stress for wrestlers. Orton is glad that things have changed.
“They’re thinking months and months in advance,” Orton said of the new regime. “It’s no longer a frustrating and stressful environment… You’re able to let it marinate and think about how to make things better.”
With more time to develop storylines, Orton believes the overall product will improve. This is a positive change for both wrestlers and fans.
