Boy group NOWZ (formerly known as NOWADAYS) is officially gearing up for their summer comeback.
On July 24, 2026, the group’s agency, Cube Entertainment, unveiled the official teaser poster on social media for their fifth digital single, titled “Achilles.”
The upcoming single is scheduled to drop on August 5, 2026.
Concept Teasers & Transformation
The comeback announcement follows a series of unconventional teaser clips that caught fans’ attention:
- Concept Teaser Poster: Features bold, red “Achilles” typography alongside an intense gaze from member Si-yoon, signaling a dramatic and confident visual concept.
- The “Z Film” Teasers: Prior to the poster release, NOWZ surprised fans by publishing humorous teaser content where the five members (Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyun) acted as salad ingredients- lettuce, cucumber, tomato, avocado, and chicken breast- before undergoing an unexpected transformation into stylish disco concept outfits.
Broadening Musical Horizons
Since rebranding from
NOWADAYS to NOWZ, the group has continued to expand their sonic repertoire through diverse genre releases across their discography:
- “EVERGLOW” showcased high-energy rock elements.
- “HomeRUN” delivered an upbeat EDM and dance sound.
- “AMMO” (feat. YRD Leo) brought a dramatic hip-hop edge to their lineup.
