Nintendo’s latest weekly eShop update is packed with new games and activities for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch players. The September 24, 2026, Nintendo Download highlights EA SPORTS FC 27, DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, Minecraft Dungeons II, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered among the biggest additions.
EA SPORTS FC 27 launches September 25 on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, while Minecraft Dungeons II and The Witcher 3 Remastered follow on September 29. Nintendo is also giving Nintendo Switch Online members a chance to try the full Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown at no additional cost for a limited period.
The update also includes new Nintendo Music content, a Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave My Nintendo sweepstakes, eShop discounts and a large selection of new digital releases.
EA Sports FC 27 and Major Games Lead This Week’s Releases
EA SPORTS FC 27 is the biggest new release arriving this week. The game introduces The Grounds, a social football playground featuring Kickabouts, 1v1 matches and Clubs, alongside improved attacking awareness, player-focused defending, dynamic corners and other gameplay changes. The standard version launches September 25, while the Ultimate Edition provides early access, the Season 1 Premium Pass and additional Career Mode bonuses. Nintendo confirms the game launches on both Switch 2 and the original Switch.
DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition is also available on Nintendo Switch 2 from September 24. The updated version includes the content from the original Definitive Edition, new optimization options focused on graphics or performance, additional voice options, an orchestral score and the ability to switch between 2D and 3D presentation.
Minecraft Dungeons II launches September 29 on Switch 2 and Switch, sending players into new locations to confront a threat affecting two worlds. The game supports solo play as well as online and local co-op for up to four players.
Meanwhile, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered arrives on Switch 2 September 29 with visual, performance and gameplay improvements, including gyro aiming, Joy-Con 2 mouse controls and touchscreen support. Existing Switch owners can upgrade to the Switch 2 version for free, while Songs of the Past, a new paid expansion, is available to wishlist.
Prince of Persia Trial, Nintendo Music and More
Nintendo Switch Online members can play the full Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown through the latest Game Trial from September 24 at 10 a.m. PT through September 30 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Save data carries over if players purchase the game, while a 70% digital discount runs through October 7.
The WarioWare: Move It! soundtrack has also joined Nintendo Music, adding tracks including “Get the Ball Rolling,” “Dress for Success” and “Super Wario Dance Company (Boss).” My Nintendo members can additionally spend 10 Platinum Points to enter the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Heroic Sweepstakes through December 8.
The wider eShop update includes new Switch 2 releases such as Absolum, Arcade Archives 2 DACHOLER, Dicevaders, SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance, TOEM 2, Twofold, Kong: Survivor Instinct, and The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival. Switch also receives titles including Blades & Battles, Chromascape, Courier, Farming Camp, Garfield – Escape From Monday, The Room 4: Old Sins, Well Dweller, and many others, while Nintendo’s weekly sales continue across both systems.
