NCT’s 10th anniversary celebrations have reached another major milestone, with the group’s large-scale art balloon exhibition at Seoul’s Seokchon Lake attracting more than 4.54 million visitors during its 25-day run.
The impressive turnout made the exhibition the most visited art balloon event held at the lake to date, adding another notable moment to NCT’s year-long anniversary project.
The massive installation was presented from September 3 to 27 around Seokchon Lake in Jamsil, Seoul.
The project was organized as part of NCT’s 10th anniversary celebrations, while also forming part of a collaboration connected to Seoul Fashion Week.
The event was jointly carried out with Lotte Future Strategy Institute and Songpa District Office, bringing NCT’s anniversary activities into one of Seoul’s well-known public spaces.
According to figures compiled by Lotte Future Strategy Institute, approximately 4.547 million people visited the exhibition during its 25-day run.
The figure represents the highest number of visitors recorded for an art balloon exhibition previously held at Seokchon Lake.
The installation itself was designed on a massive scale. Before the exhibition opened, Songpa District Office announced that the art balloon would measure approximately 16 meters in height and 14.5 meters in width.
It was positioned on the water of the lake’s eastern section and incorporated shapes and colors representing both Seoul Fashion Week and NCT.
The exhibition offered visitors an opportunity to see NCT’s anniversary branding in an open public setting rather than inside a conventional concert or exhibition venue.
Its location also made it accessible to people visiting the lake for leisure, giving the anniversary project a wider public presence.
NCT’s Anniversary Celebration Lights Up Seokchon Lake
The art balloon was accompanied by a nighttime lighting event that added another visual element to the anniversary project.
From September 7 through September 25, lighting was installed along the eastern section of Seokchon Lake’s walking route, using NCT’s symbolic color, “Pearl Neo Champagne.”

The lighting display was designed to complement the large balloon installation and create a different atmosphere after sunset.
According to NCT’s official anniversary schedule, nighttime lighting for the Seokchon Lake programs ran during the evening hours, allowing visitors to experience the project after dark as well.
The Seokchon Lake project was part of a much larger celebration titled “NCT 2026,” marking a decade since NCT’s brand launch.
The anniversary program has included several projects across Seoul, connecting music, fashion, exhibitions and public art.
One of the major components was NCT’s collaboration with Seoul Fashion Week.
The September program at Lotte World Mall’s World Park included anniversary-related displays featuring stage costumes and props, alongside other events connected to Seoul Fashion Week.
NCT’s anniversary activities have also extended beyond the Seokchon Lake installation.
From September 18 through October 18, the group is holding “EXHIBITION : NEO DIMENSION” at the immersive platform DEEP on the third basement floor of Lotte World Adventure.
The exhibition looks back on NCT’s 10-year history and incorporates content connected to the group’s distinctive universe and brand identity.
‘NCT 2026’ Continues With More Anniversary Projects
The strong response to the Seokchon Lake art balloon adds to the scale of NCT’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
Rather than limiting the milestone to music releases or fan-focused events, “NCT 2026” has incorporated a range of public-facing projects designed to celebrate the group’s decade-long history.
The anniversary program began with multiple events across Seoul, including a special Moonlight Rainbow Fountain program at Banpo Bridge and the NCT collaboration with Seoul Fashion Week.
The official anniversary schedule also listed the Seokchon Lake lighting event, art balloon exhibition and “NEO DIMENSION” immersive exhibition as key components of the celebration.
The Seokchon Lake installation was particularly notable because of its scale and location.
A giant art balloon floating over the lake created a highly visible centerpiece, while the surrounding lighting display extended the experience into the evening.
The millions of visitors recorded during the exhibition demonstrate the large amount of public foot traffic the project received during its limited run.
With the art balloon exhibition now concluded, NCT’s anniversary celebrations are continuing through the “NEO DIMENSION” exhibition.
Running until October 18, the immersive event gives fans and visitors another opportunity to look back at the group’s journey since its launch.
NCT officially marked its 10th anniversary in 2026, and the group’s anniversary projects have continued to combine its music identity with large-scale cultural and visual experiences.
From Seoul Fashion Week collaborations to public art and immersive exhibitions, “NCT 2026” has transformed the milestone into a series of events taking place across the city.
The record attendance at Seokchon Lake now stands as one of the biggest highlights of those celebrations, with more than 4.54 million visitors experiencing the art balloon exhibition before it closed on September 27.
