Miss Nagatoro is nearing its long-awaited finale. This week, the creator of Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro announced that the manga will end in just three chapters, with chapter 154 being the final installment.

Creator Nanashi took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news and asked fans for their continued support as the series reaches its finale after a seven-year run.

Nanashi wrote, “There’s only a little bit left to go. I hope you will stay with me until the very end!”

Fans of Miss Nagatoro are understandably sad to see the manga come to an end. Since its debut in November 2017, the series has been a hit for Kodansha.

The manga’s popularity led to an anime adaptation by Telecom Animation Film, with OLM taking over for the second season in March 2023. With the manga ending, speculation is high about the possibility of a third and final season of the anime.

For those unfamiliar with the story, Miss Nagatoro is a romantic comedy that follows the interactions between two high school students.

Nagatoro, a mischievous freshman, enjoys teasing her upperclassman, known as Senpai. Despite her constant pranks and taunts, their relationship gradually evolves from antagonistic to something more genuine.

Kodansha currently oversees the English release of Miss Nagatoro, allowing fans to stay up-to-date with the series. The official synopsis reads: “Nagatoro is a cute freshman who loves to toy with her senior classmate, Senpai.

Despite her tricks and teasing, the two are rarely apart. Are they just friends, or is there potential for something more? Find out in this lively romantic comedy!”
