Richard Sandrak, aka Little Hercules, is known for having a tight muscular physique since his young days. Born on 15 April 1992, he turned 30 this year. He hails from Ukraine. Because of his physique, he often got called the World’s Strongest Boy. That’s the name of his documentary, too, released in 2004. When he was eight years old, he reportedly used to bench press 95 Kg. Not everyone knows that Little Hercules also excels in martial art.
Knowing this, you must be wondering about his secret behind making such a physique. Well, his father turned out to be his inspiration, who helped him. At the age of 5, he used to work out seven hours a day, doing 600 push-ups and 300 squats. In short, his parents implemented a strict exercise routine on him since his childhood days.
Coming back to Little Hercules then and now, his appearance has changed drastically. These days, he looks more like any other 30-year-old man. Moreover, he reportedly lost his eight-pack abs. Even though he appeared strongest of all, the process of achieving it was not easy for him. During those days, Richard also had some health issues. Little Hercules Then And Now: Change In His Appearance
Talking about Little Hercules then and now, one of the major discussions should be about his health problems. One must know that he was on a strict diet back then. It had no junk food and sweets but high content of proteins. The medical experts shared that Little Hercules had a low-fat percentage in his body. It was dangerous for his health.
Concerning Little Hercules’ physique back then, the doctors also shared that no child of his age could have that much muscle. As a reason, they started that a child can’t produce enough testosterone to become that muscular. This statement highlighted Little Hercules might have used steroids.
As far as Little Hercules, then and now, after his transformation, he has stopped weight-lifting. Moreover, he now works as a stuntman in the Hollywood industry. To be more exact about his job role, he jumps off heights and also sets himself on fire. On this note, Little Hercules said, “No, I don’t lift weights. I am very proud of my past.” Back in 2015, during an interview, he further stated that he didn’t want to be stuck living in what he used to do in the early days.
However, Little Hercules is now active in doing several cardio during his workout session. That includes chin-ups, stair climbing, and even skateboarding.
As mentioned earlier, Little Hercules’ parents were responsible for his muscular physique. They took him to the celebrity fitness trainer and promoter Frank Giardina. What for? Well, they did that with the hope that it would help in launching a career for their son, Richard. Later, on seeing him, Frank was shocked, wondering if it that was any kind of trick photography or a midget.
In an interview, Richard, aka Little Hercules, admitted that his father used to be very abusive. Because of that, he had an isolated childhood and was not allowed much to go outside. When he was 11 years old, his father reportedly went to jail because of the physical torture of his mother.
