Wrestling veteran Kevin Nash is known for his honest opinions. He’s been critical of the current state of professional wrestling, including All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Some fans believe Nash favors WWE because of his criticism of AEW. On a recent podcast, Nash denied these claims.
Kevin Nash Fires Back at Bias Claims
He stated he doesn’t receive a regular paycheck from WWE, but rather earns royalties from merchandise sales.
Nash also questioned the logic behind the bias accusations. Since his close friends Triple H and Shawn Michaels work for WWE booking, he asked how those connections would benefit him financially if he wasn’t already under contract with the company.
While Nash acknowledges his past criticism of WWE’s use of wrestler R-Truth, he maintains he holds them to a higher standard because of their resources. He also announced he’s stopping his critiques of AEW because he finds it too easy.
Previously, Nash called the current AEW product difficult to watch. Whether AEW will improve its product before their upcoming Double or Nothing event remains to be seen.
