She later addressed the transformation revealing how after she developed tonsillitis, she was given the painkiller Vicodin which eventually turned into an addiction, and Kelly later admitted that she moved on to heroin because it was cheaper. Kelly Osbourne stated that she kept on getting sick as she got a really bad case of tonsillitis and underwent some procedure of surgery.
Kelly admitted that she soon went through a drastic transformation that included massive weight gain and revealed how the voice in her head kept on saying that she was fat, ugly, and not good enough and didn’t deserve good things. While talking about the massive weight gain, Kelly admitted that she eventually replaced the drugs with food and just got fatter and fatter as she called herself an emotional eater.
Kelly Osbourne also revealed that she underwent gastric sleeve weight loss surgery in 2018 while explaining that she decided to have the surgery as she believed it was far from a quick fix and also required a change in lifestyle.
