KATSEYE’s latest release, “Gnarly,” has sparked controversy, particularly due to its lyrics. During a special broadcast on April 30, members Lara and Manon discussed the song’s reception, with Lara expressing pride in their work.
However, when Lara mentioned potential negative feedback, Manon’s reaction was far from subtle. She remarked,
“If you get it, you get it,” and then added, “If you don’t get it, get the f*ck away from us.”

This comment was met with backlash, as many felt Manon’s response was overly aggressive and inappropriate.
Critics pointed out that while everyone is entitled to their opinion, Manon’s reaction appeared dismissive and arrogant. Some also suggested that she might need media training to better handle such situations.

However, the group’s latest release has continued to spark discussions, especially regarding the possible use of AI in the song’s production and the involvement of a minor member, which has also raised concerns.
