Actress Kang Min Ah has officially found a new home in the Korean entertainment industry after signing an exclusive contract with Sublime.
The agency announced the partnership on September 30, welcoming the actress to its growing roster of artists.
Sublime is also home to entertainers including Nana, Hyeri, and Lim Soo Hyang.
Through the new agreement, Kang Min Ah will continue developing her acting career while taking on a wider variety of projects.
Sublime highlighted the actress’s experience across different genres and characters and expressed its intention to provide comprehensive support for her future activities.
The agency stated,
“We are pleased to be working with Kang Min Ah, who has built her own unique characters through various works.”
It further added,
“We will provide full-fledged support so that she can showcase her abilities as an actress in numerous projects.”
The company also asked viewers and fans to continue showing interest in Kang Min Ah as she begins this new stage of her career.
The signing comes after years of steady work for Kang Min Ah, who has built a diverse portfolio across films, television dramas, and web dramas.
Rather than being associated with just one particular type of role, she has continued appearing in different genres and taking on contrasting characters throughout her career.
From Film and Web Dramas to Major Television Roles
Kang Min Ah began her acting career as a child, making her film debut in 2009 with From the Sea.
She subsequently appeared in films including Pain, When a Man Loves, Hya, and Park Hwa Young. Among these projects, her performance as Eun Mi Jung in Park Hwa Young helped leave a particularly strong impression on audiences and showcased a more intense side of her acting.
Her television career developed alongside her film work. She first appeared as the younger version of the title character in Jang Ok Jung, Living by Love.
She later took on roles in dramas such as Seonam Girls High School Investigators, Cheer Up!, and Everyone’s Romance.
One of her widely recognized television roles came in True Beauty, where she played Choi Soo A.

The drama gave Kang Min Ah an opportunity to reach a broader audience and further establish herself as a familiar face among younger drama viewers.
She subsequently continued working across different genres, appearing in productions such as Beyond Evil, At a Distance, Spring Is Green, and Gaus Electronics. Her filmography demonstrates her continued willingness to move between different types of stories and characters rather than limiting herself to a single genre.
Kang Min Ah also became well known through web dramas. Her appearance as Cha Ah Hyun in A-Teen 2 helped increase her public recognition, after which she appeared in several other popular web-based productions. These included Seasons of Blossom, Love Your Way, Monchouchou Global House, The Temperature of Language: Our Nineteen, and Villainess.
‘Empathy Cell’ Marks Her Latest Lead Role
Before signing with Sublime, Kang Min Ah most recently appeared as Yoo Ji An in the Lifetime weekend drama Empathy Cell. The series concluded on September 26, with Kang Min Ah playing a top actress who had originally started her career as a member of a girl group. Her role placed her at the center of the story and gave her another opportunity to demonstrate her presence as a leading actress.
Her recent work follows a career that has gradually expanded from child acting and supporting roles into leading parts across television, films, and web dramas. Her projects have included romantic comedies as well as heavier stories, allowing her to build experience across a broad range of material.
With her exclusive contract with Sublime now confirmed, Kang Min Ah is entering another stage of her career. The agency’s existing roster includes several established entertainers, giving the actress a new professional environment as she looks toward future projects.
Sublime has emphasized that it intends to support Kang Min Ah as she explores different opportunities and demonstrates her abilities through multiple projects. While specific upcoming productions have not yet been announced, her new agency partnership sets the stage for further acting activities.
After years of steadily expanding her filmography, Kang Min Ah’s move to Sublime marks a fresh beginning. Her history across films, television dramas, and web content has given her experience with a wide variety of characters, and her latest agency signing signals that more projects are expected to follow as she continues developing her career.
