The highly anticipated Kagurabachi anime adaptation has introduced fans to two more characters ahead of its April 2027 premiere. New character trailers and visuals spotlight Hinao and Char Kyonagi, offering a first look at their animated portrayals and confirming the voices behind them.
Miku Ito will voice Hinao, while Miyari Nemoto will portray Char Kyonagi. The new promotional material provides additional insight into their roles within the supernatural world of Takeru Hokazono’s popular manga.
Hinao works at Cafe Haru Haru, a location that serves as a connection between sorcerers and the underworld. Char, meanwhile, is described as a cheerful and courageous young girl who finds herself being pursued for mysterious reasons.
Based on Hokazono’s manga, Kagurabachi has surpassed 4 million copies in circulation, including digital editions. The anime will stream worldwide on Crunchyroll beginning in April 2027, excluding Japan, Mainland China, North Korea and South Korea.
Tetsuya Takeuchi is directing the adaptation, with Keigo Sasaki handling character designs. Animation production comes from Cypic, known for Umamusume: Cinderella Gray and The Summer Hikaru Died. Further casting and production details are expected to be announced ahead of the premiere.
