The latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 31,” begins with a flashback of Kamo and Choso teaching Yuji about Blood Manipulation.
Kamo proves to be a more effective teacher, instructing Yuji on Convergence while dismissing Choso’s attempt to teach “Supernova.” Choso feels frustrated by his inability to teach his brother anything significant.

The chapter details Sukuna’s “Divine Flames,” which he can only use after completing the incantation processes of Dismantle and Cleave. However, due to his current situation, these Flames lack their usual power and speed.
To resolve this, Sukuna makes another Binding Vow to enhance the Flames. Uraume explains that the Flames cause decompression and increased air pressure, effectively killing everything within their range.
During Sukuna’s battle with Gojo, he had to alter the conditions of his Domain constantly, limiting its range and making it insufficient to sustain Divine Flames. Choso sacrifices himself to protect Yuji from these Flames by creating a blood barrier.

Transported to Choso’s imagined dinner world, Choso apologizes to Yuji for his shortcomings as a teacher. He praises Yuji’s quick mastery of complex techniques, attributing it to Sukuna’s possession. Choso reminisces about his siblings and departs, leaving Yuji to face the Flames alone.
As Divine Flames close in on Yuji, he begins to lose hope, feeling like a mere pawn. However, Aoi Todo arrives to save him. Through a flashback, it’s revealed that Todo and Mei Mei planned to use Boogie Woogie to evacuate people from Sukuna’s Domain. Todo expands his Cursed technique range despite losing his hand.
