Jeff Easter is a gospel singer, producer, and songwriter who worked with various prominent figures in the Christian music industry. He has performed since the 1990s and toured throughout the USA and Europe.
Sheri Williamson is an award-winning vocalist and belonged to the Bluegrass family like her husband, Jeff Easter. On the other hand, Sheri’s mother, Polly Lewis Copsey, was appreciated for her singing, and the mother-daughter duo believed in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jeff and Sheri Easter’s divorce rumors surfaced in 2015 and 2016, but Steve Wright, the co-founder of Marriage Missions International, cleared the confusion by stating they were madly in love as of February 2016. So, there was no place for divorce.
Jeff and Sheri met during a gospel singing event in Arkansas in August 1984 and married in June 1985. Sheri’s mother, Polly, introduced her to Jeff. She was a member of The Lewis Family, and he was the bassist for the Singing Americans.
The couple celebrated thirty years of music and marriage in September 2022 by releasing their album, Small Town. However, they released several albums together, got nominated for many awards, and won nine Dove Awards.
Sheri gave birth to one boy, Madison, and two girls, Morgan and Maura. Madison is a guitarist, and Morgan is a vocalist, while Maura appears occasionally with them. Apart from that, the eldest brother, Madison, is an individual singer and songwriter.
Madison and Morgan’s spouses, Shannon Easter and Landan Smith, respectively, are also members of the band named Easter Brothers. Morgan was only five when her first album was released, nine when the second was released, and fourteen when she became the third part vocalist for Jeff and Sheri.

Sheri Easter’s Death
Sheri Easter passed on 05 January 2023 (Thursday), and her fans remembered her for her mesmerizing voice and love for Jesus. Sheri found the truth in the Bible after her father passed when she was only twenty.
Sheri was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 but continued to tour for music. As of 2020, Jeff hoped the doctor would clear her disease. The couple released ten love songs till their tenth marriage anniversary and an additional twenty-five romantic tunes till their twenty-fifth marriage anniversary.
Sheri shared her fight with breast cancer in her song, Heart My Heart. Her husband and children supported her throughout her journey. However, her savior was Lord Jesus, and she was fully dependent on him.
On the one hand, the couple won Grammy and Dove Awards. On the other hand, they were having rounds of chemo. Most songs in the album released at that time were based on her chemo experiences.
Sheri lost her hair during chemotherapy. Meanwhile, she and Jeff used to listen to heart-touching songs. The CD contains dark songs full of sadness. Sheri did not enjoy people’s sympathy because she did not want her physical weakness to affect her mental health.
Sheri wanted to sing and go on tours till she could because she liked it. The Easter couple did not have to pay more bills and would love to do it for free. According to Jeff and Sheri, Gospel music and love for God made their path smoother.
Sheri learned to maintain a positive attitude from her mother, who became a widow at forty-seven. People used to feel sorry for her, but she kept smiling while fighting against the odds. Her grandfather belonged to the Lewis family and kept touring for fifty-eight years till he was ninety.
