Jay Shetty’s acclaimed podcast On Purpose is entering a new chapter as it officially launches on Netflix as a video series. Ahead of its July 13 debut, Netflix released the first trailer for the new season, offering a preview of the thoughtful conversations that have made the podcast one of the world’s most popular interview shows.
According to PEOPLE, the new season will stream three episodes per week on Netflix while continuing its partnership with Spotify. The trailer also confirms a high-profile lineup of guests, including Millie Bobby Brown, Keke Palmer, Jake Shane, Karl-Anthony Towns, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Dr. Daniel Amen, Camila Mendes, and Lucy Hale, with additional guests expected to be announced later.
Netflix expands Jay Shetty’s global reach
The trailer opens with one of Shetty’s signature messages of self-reflection.
“You have power over your mind. Realize this and you will find strength.”
The motivational speaker and former monk has built On Purpose into one of the world’s leading interview podcasts by focusing on authentic conversations about mental health, relationships, personal growth, and resilience. Moving the show to Netflix marks another major milestone for the franchise as video podcasts continue to gain popularity across streaming platforms.
When announcing the partnership with Netflix and Spotify in May, Shetty described the move as a significant moment for the medium.
“This is a historic moment, not just for On Purpose but for podcasting itself. We’re entering a new era where interviews can impact culture as powerfully as movies, music, and television on the global stage.”
A platform known for honest conversations

On Purpose has become known for encouraging celebrities, athletes, creators, and experts to discuss deeply personal experiences. Recent episodes have explored topics ranging from grief and anxiety to relationships and self-discovery.
One of the podcast’s most widely discussed recent interviews featured creator Emilie Kiser, who spoke publicly for the first time about the loss of her son, Trigg. The conversation reinforced the podcast’s reputation as a space where guests share vulnerable stories in a thoughtful and supportive environment.
Earlier this year, Shetty also launched Messy Love: Difficult Conversations for Deeper Connection, a 10-episode series centered on live coaching sessions with real couples steering through relationship challenges.
Speaking with PEOPLE earlier this year, Shetty reflected on the mindset guiding both his work and personal life.
“What I’m taking into the New Year with me is making sure that my priorities are my priorities and that my life and my day and my weeks and my months and my year are structured around the things that I deeply believe and are important to me.”
With Netflix now bringing On Purpose to a broader global audience, the podcast continues to expand beyond audio while maintaining its focus on meaningful conversations that resonate across cultures.
