HYDE x MY FIRST STORY has joined forces to create the opening theme for the latest season of the Demon Slayer anime, the Hashira Training Arc.

Surprisingly, they are also collaborating on the ending theme, titled “Eikyuu -Tokoshie-,” which was revealed during the second episode of the arc. The song is composed, arranged, and written by Yuki Kajiura, the anime’s composer.

A Still from ‘Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc’

Crunchyroll, which streams the entire series, including the new Hashira Training Arc, summarizes the story set in the Taisho Period in Japan. It follows Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal, whose family is slaughtered by a demon. His sister, Nezuko, survives but is turned into a demon herself.

Devastated, Tanjiro resolves to become a demon slayer to restore Nezuko to humanity and avenge his family’s death.
