Kim Deuk Pal, a 47-year-old gangster with big dreams despite his tough background, finds himself in an unexpected situation when he witnesses Song Yi Heon, a troubled 19-year-old, attempting suicide.
Deuk Pal’s life takes a drastic turn when his spirit somehow enters Yi Heon’s body, granting him a second chance at youth. As he inhabits Yi Heon’s form, Deuk Pal confronts the bullies tormenting his new host and strikes up an unlikely friendship with classmate Choi Se Kyung, who harbors secrets of his own, including suffering from abuse at the hands of his father.
In his new guise as Yi Heon, Deuk Pal goes on a journey of self-discovery and redemption, using his street smarts and newfound perspective to stand up to injustice and protect those in need. Alongside Se Kyung, he faces the challenges of high school life while dealing with their personal struggles, forming bonds that transcend societal expectations and stereotypes.
