Magical Mirai 2026 – Limited Edition – Without case

Hatsune Miku fans will soon be able to relive the final night of Magical Mirai 2026 at home. The 14th edition of the event will receive Blu-ray and DVD releases on February 3, 2027, featuring the complete recording of the Tokyo evening performance held at Makuhari Messe on August 30.

Magical Mirai combines 3DCG live performances featuring Hatsune Miku and other virtual singers with an exhibition celebrating creativity and the creators who continue to shape the Vocaloid scene. The 2026 event was held under the theme “Sonare of the Lake” and marked the first time the event visited Hamamatsu.

The limited edition will be the more substantial release, adding a bonus disc packed with performances that were not included in the Tokyo finale, making-of footage, an exhibition digest, and special content focused on the virtual singers.

What Is Included in Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2026?

The standard and limited editions both include the full Tokyo final evening concert. The performance features 26 songs, beginning with STEAKA’s “Doping Dance” and continuing through tracks such as “Gehenna,” “Unhappy Refrain,” “The Vampire,” “39music!,” “Hand in Hand,” and “Answer Me.”

The setlist also gives several of Crypton Future Media’s virtual singers prominent moments. Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO appear alongside Hatsune Miku across performances including “Bad shark,” “Blue Fire,” “Salome,” “Amazing Dolce,” “El Tango Egoista,” and “Tengaku -soukyou-.”

The limited edition Blu-ray costs 10,450 yen, while the standard Blu-ray is priced at 6,930 yen. The limited edition DVD costs 9,350 yen, with all three releases scheduled for February 3, 2027. Both Blu-ray and DVD versions are region-free.

The limited edition comes in a deluxe case featuring a translucent special finish inspired by the “Sonare of the Lake” theme. It also includes a special book and a bonus disc, with the package artwork featuring the main event visual illustrated by Wata.

The bonus disc contains the “Magical Mirai 2026 Daily Songs” section, offering seven live performances that were not part of the Tokyo final evening concert. These include “Kimagure Merci,” “Attakaito,” “Hibikase,” “Vivid,” “HERO,” “Umiyuri Kaiteitan,” and “Kagerou Days.”

It also includes “Focus on Singers Live Footage,” featuring eight performances centered on the virtual singers. The selection includes “Gehenna,” “El Tango Egoista,” “Pheles,” “Tengaku -soukyou-,” “39music!,” “Sora ni Menjite,” “Doping Dance (Vtai stage ver.),” and “Answer Me (Vtai stage ver.).”

The “Daily Songs” and “Focus on Singers” footage supports 5.1-channel audio and Japanese subtitles. The limited-edition Blu-ray includes its bonus material on Blu-ray, while the DVD version includes the bonus disc on DVD.

Magical Mirai 2026 took place at Act City Hamamatsu from July 24 to July 26, INTEX Osaka from August 14 to August 16, and Makuhari Messe from August 28 to August 30. The event’s 2027 plans have also expanded with Hiroshima added to the list of upcoming shows.

Hatsune Miku was developed by Crypton Future Media as a virtual singer whose voice can be created by entering lyrics and melodies. The character became a global phenomenon as creators produced and shared music online, eventually expanding Miku’s presence into live concerts, merchandise, and other entertainment.
