Japanese rock band HANABIE. has released its new single “Bari Bari Buddy,” which serves as the ending theme song for the anime Reincarnated as a Sword II. The release includes an accompanying music video and brings the band’s energetic Harajuku-core sound to the fantasy anime series.
Written by vocalist YUKINA and guitarist and vocalist MATSURI, “Bari Bari Buddy” was created to reflect the adventurous spirit of Fran and Teacher, the central duo of Reincarnated as a Sword. The band describes the track as an epic song with a chorus designed for fans to sing along with.
“We’ve created an epic, larger-than-life song that perfectly captures Fran and Teacher’s grand adventure!” HANABIE. said in its announcement. The band also encouraged listeners to join in with the chorus and become “totally badass Buddies” through the series.
