Acclaimed actor Gong Yoo is preparing to connect with his international fanbase on a whole new scale.
On July 16, 2026, his agency, Management SOOP, officially announced that the star will embark on the 2026 Gong Yoo Asia Fan Meeting Tour , spanning six major Asian cities from October through November 2026.
This marks the first time in his 25-year career that Gong Yoo will execute a full Asia-wide fan meeting tour.
Tour Concept and Handwritten Birthday Letter to Fans
The tour title, “The Long Take,” takes inspiration from the cinematic filmmaking technique of continuous, uninterrupted shooting.
It symbolizes connecting the time Gong Yoo has passed- both as the celebrated actor Gong Yoo and as the individual Gong Ji-cheol- with the future moments he will create alongside his supporters into one seamless narrative.
Gong Yoo first personally teased the tour to fans on his birthday on July 10, 2026, through a heartfelt handwritten letter detailing his reflection on his career:
“Thanks to all of you who have been with me for so long, I’ve naturally reflected on the time that has passed.
This year, I’ve prepared a place to face that time directly and share it with you.
I hope we can add a new scene to our long story. I’m always grateful.”
